Minnesota taxes are too high and getting higher, tax money is being wasted, and public education is in trouble. It seems as if elected officials have lost their common sense. Certainly, they've lost their respect for other people's money. I've spent most of my life in radio, watching government from the sidelines, never believing I would play a role on the legislative stage. The continual increase in taxes and wasteful government spending finally convinced me to do what I could, and should.
I believe in the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death and I believe the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution guarantees each American the right to keep and bear arms.
Once, I volunteered to go to Vietnam. Some have said I've joined a similar battle only with fewer fatalities. I think not but time will tell.
