My name is David Allan pundt and I'm running for the District 12 seat in the Minnesota legislature. I moved to Crow Wing County in 1959, graduated from Washington High School in Brainerd, attended Brainerd Junior College, joined the Air Force, served in Vietnam, returned to St. Cloud State and spent 30 years in broadcasting, the last 8 years in Breezy Point as the KLKS News Director. I'm pro-life, pro-second amendment, pro-private rights and I think we should have government based on common sense. I approve this message. There's a clear choice in the race for District 12A state representative. My opponent wants more of your tax money for education but I think education should be equal. Brainerd and Crosby kids should get the same as kids from Edina and Richfield. And our kids need a better, more rigorous education to prepare them to compete in the world, not just against Iowa or Mississippi. We need a government that operates with common sense, that doesn't knuckle under to special interests. We're not heading there now, but we could be tomorrow. I approve this message. My opponent voted to let governments run renewable energy companies in competition with private companies. We should have a government based on common sense. David Allan Pundt here and I want to talk about Minnesota's economy. Unemployment is up. Too many of us are out looking for work. The Tax Foundation says Minnesota has the 41st worst business climate in the country and labor statistics say most job movement today is not out of the country but out of the state. 3M went to Texas, Northwest went to Georgia, Atek went to South Dakota. And all those jobs and all those taxes went with them. It's time for a change. I'm David Allan Pundt . I'm running in Distict 12A for the state legislature. And I approve of this message.

Our taxes are too high, our government is too big and the trend for the near future sounds like more of the same. We need to attract employers, not scare them away. We need more good paying jobs.
